Our good friend Jason Barnes successfully defended his dissertation. Both friends and family from far away were present. I'm out of practice with my camera, so some of the focus and stuff is out of whack, deal.

Afterwards there were celebrations in 309 and at Nonie. Again, I was trying not to set off a big flash, but looks like I should have, because some of these shots at the restaurant are a little too "artsy" even for me.
