We had a great showing this year at LPSC, from our Elk Chili to the annual Arizona party at Pete's Barn.
The Elk Chili was great, unfortunately not good enough to
win 1st place or weird enough to get the booby prize.

That day, the 14th of February was Barb's birthday,
and she set up a party at Finn's. These are some pictures from
her camera that day.
The Arizona party at Pete's Barn on Thursday night was again a raging
success. There was liquid refresment, a little fire
to take off the chill, and the happy tunes of Science
Diet and Brown Paper Dog (I think that's it, let me know).
However, I only managed to catch images and a couple of
short silent movies in .MOV format of Science Diet during
their second set.

Using the flash made things look too artificial, so
I experimented with slow flash and no flash. The
pictures aren't great, but they're certainly interesting.

So I also managed to snap a few short movies
with my camera. There's no sound, and its only
at 15 fps, which gives it that old home-movie feel,
which I actually kinda like. This first
movie
is a shot from slightly left of stage, I pan
across the band and out to the audience, and
then back. Since the lighting is uneven,
and crowd is pretty obscured.

This second movie is from just in the left front of the stage.

This last movie looks straight on at the band as they and their numerous on-stage guests sing "Love Shack."
